Whether you're a club veteran, just getting your feet wet, or somewhere in the middle, you are in the right place. I'm your host, Denny Corby. Welcome to the show. In this episode, I am sharing with you a Christmas holiday gift. This episode is short and sweet and honestly kind of a power move. Uh, this is just me, no guests, no fluff, just a quick solo episode and tip that will change how you work, how you connect, and how you follow through. I hope you are all taking some time around these holidays to spend with the important people in your life, making sure your club's taken care of, making sure you're taken care of, your people, your team, everyone in your life. Life. Where that where that accent come from. But no, in this holiday season, hope you are all taking care of yourselves and having a really great December and gearing up for a wonderful 2026. It's gonna be a wild year. And speaking of wild year, shameless plug, if you or your club is looking for one of the most fun member event nights, you have the Denny Corby experience. It's for people who are afraid of comedy shows and want more than a magic show. It's really engaging, really crowd work focused, a lot of banter, interaction, and engagement. There's excitement, there's mystery, also there's magic, mind reading, and comedy, a ton of laughs, gasps, and holy craps. If you want to learn more, head on over to dennycorpy.com. The beginning part of 2026 is fairly full. The second part looking a little better. But reach out and let's talk. Dennycorby.com. Enough about that though. Let's get to it. So here is my secret holiday tip gift for you. Are you ready? Here it is. It's schedule sending or on an iPhone, send later. That's it. That's the tip. Simple, invisible, and criminally underused, if you ask me. But when you start using it on purpose, it becomes a total game changer. And not just for the holidays, not just for this time, but all year long. So what is it? So you've probably seen it before in Gmail Outlook. There are options for schedule send. And in Apple messages, in your iMessages, it's called send later. You can literally pick the exact date and time you want that text or email to go out. You write it now and you hit send next week, or the week after, or a month later, or two months later. It's when you want. Future you handling business while current you takes a nap, hosts a board dinner, hits a couple balls in the links. You see, this matters because life gets busy. We forget things, we mean to follow up. We want to check in. We say, I'll email you next week, I'll send you a text, and then next thing we know, days go by, hours go by, months go by, weeks go by. We're focusing on so many other things and we forget. So these little schedule sends, these little send later takes that mental load off you. And it puts follow-ups a little bit on autopilot while still keeping things thoughtful and intentional. I think it's one of the most powerful little touches and tools you can use to build your communication and your community, especially in this industry. And you can use this in so many different ways. You can do member check-ins. You just chatted with a member and something somebody was said, or they mentioned it was maybe someone's birthday or they're going somewhere, and like, oh, I can't wait to hear about it. Why not, after you leave, schedule, send a text or an email asking them how it went a day or two after? You could do birthday messages, welcome messages. Hope you had fun. How was your trip? Literally, it is unlimited uses. Here's the thing with this, with this thing, these little things that we also talk about on the show and in the episodes, right? These aren't and this isn't a productivity tip or trick. This is relationship building. Because being consistent, being thoughtful, and being timely, especially in hospitality, that stuff sticks with people and it shows you care. So that's it. We're all busy, we all mean well, but the follow-through, that's what builds trust. So schedule send, send later will let you follow through without relying on your fried brain. Maybe it's just maybe just me. I don't know. It's one of those little tiny tools that when used well makes a huge impact. So consider this my little gift to you, and honestly, to future you also uh give it a shot this week. Try it out. Once you try it, I know you'll be hooked. And if you already use it, you know how much of a gem this already is. All right, that's it for me today. Happy holidays, whatever you celebrate. Spend some time with some amazing people. We're keeping this short and sweet. That's this episode. Until next time, I'm your host, Denny Corby. Catch y'all on the flippity flip.
